Iraqi Minister of Defense , Khaled al-Obeidi denied on Sunday, what some media talked about the landing of unknown aircraft in the areas where ISIS terrorist organization is in order to deliver military aid to it, while vowing that the air defense will respond to any aircraft, whatever its nationality was .
Obeidi said at a news conference held at the ministry building that "the Preliminary investigations proved the inaccuracy of information relating to aircraft landing in the areas occupied by ISIS," pointing out that "any aircraft that lands to help ISIS will be a legitimate target for Iraqi forces, whatever its nationality was ".
He added that "no one can prevent the Iraqi fighters to fly over all the atmosphere of Iraq."
On the ongoing operations in Anbar province western al-Baghdadi town , al-Obeidi said that , he is following the operations and the details of the battles in al-Baghdadi around the clock that will be liberated during a very close period."
With regard to Mosul city, al-Obeidi said that "the battle to liberate the city of Mosul from the control of ISIS organization will begin as soon as to complete the preparations for it."
But about arming the popular crowd and clans , Obeidi said "arming the non-military pieces is a political and government decision agreed upon."
